How to enroll your TA and Co-teachers in Canvas

The process for enrolling participants who have a netID but who are not credit-earning students is started from inside your Canvas course. Go to the ISU AdminTools link > Manage Additional People. For each new participant: enter their netID, specify their role, select the enrollment sections they should see (normally will select “All listed sections”), then click the “Add” button. IMPORTANT: When you connect registrar lists to the class account it creates new enrollment sections with names such as “Section 1” and “Section XW”. Depending on how your account was ordered, there may be a default section that has the same name as the account but which contains no students. If you enrolled your TA/Co-teacher before enrolling the class lists, you will need to go back and re-enroll them into the new sections, i.e. “All listed sections”.
