Kere Hughes-Belding earns credentials from the Iowa Association of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health

Kere Hughes-Belding, professor in human development and family studies, is the first person in Iowa to earn the Infant Mental Health Mentor – Research/Faculty Endorsement® credential from the Iowa Association of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. The endorsement is for culturally sensitive, relationship-focused practice promoting infant and early childhood mental health, with it Hughes-Belding will continue to support the association to advance infant mental health supports in Iowa. In addition, Hughes-Belding will continue to serve as associate editor for the Infant Mental Health Journal and review endorsement applications.
