Megan Gilligan, an associate professor in human development and family studies, was named a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America. Gilligan’s fellow status was awarded through the behavioral and social sciences section of the organization, and was unanimously approved by the GSA board in recognition of her outstanding expertise, continuing work, and leadership in the field of gerontology. She will be featured in the June edition of Gerontology News and honored at the Gerontological Society of America’s annual scientific meeting in November.
