Ph.D. graduate Jordan Arellanes receives award for conference proposal

Jordan Arellanes, Ph.D. graduate in human development and family studies, has received the 2019 Best Conference Proposal Award from the Family Policy section of the National Council on Family Relations for his proposal titled ‘Positive Latino Father Relationships Decrease Youths’ Drug and Alcohol Use into Emerging Adulthood.’ Arellanes graduated from Iowa State spring 2019 and is now an assistant professor of psychology at Illinois State University.
