Responsibilities

During my internship, I interned along side the pediatric psychologist where I gained valuable experience in the field of clinical psychology, and learned about the day to day responsibilities of the position. I was able to learn more about psychological evaluations as well as how to address behavioral health needs. I also learned how to effectively communicate with patients and their families, and helped put together hand outs that families would be able to take home with them.

Accomplishments

I was able to attend weekly case consultation meetings where I was able to present cases to a multidisciplinary team. This has allowed me to work on my communication skills and has been a really great learning experience!
