-Facilitate before and after school program for kids ages kindergarten through 5th grade -Supervise staff and equip them to provide the best care -Create and implement lesson plans weekly -Maintain attendance records daily -Ensure a fun and safe environment for program attendees to participate in

Accomplishments

A great accomplishment from my experience is when I was able to deescalate a situation where a child was very upset and did not want to talk to staff.

What advice would you give?

Volunteer at different places and research the organizations you are considering working for in order to best decide where you should intern or work at. Ask lots of questions from your employer.
