Responsibilities

I assisted in running the programming the YWCA has. These programs include an English class, a parenting class, and a middle school girls program.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment I had was just getting experience in my field. That was my main goal, and the YWCA allowed me to work with various clients.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned is to keep an open mind when learning with all clients. Every client has a different background, so knowing the background of each of your clients is important.

What advice would you give?

Start looking for internships early to ensure you get the best opportunity for yourself!
