Accomplishments
The greatest accomplishment from my experience has been working with a child through a period of intense dysregulation. I was able to use the tools and skills I have learned at while at Washburn to therapeutically assist a child back to a regulated state.
What advice would you give?
I would advise anyone searching for and applying to internships to look outside your comfort zone! It is so easy to do what is comfortable but by testing those limits you learn so much more!
