Responsibilities

Advocacy and support to clients who are survivors of domestic abuse. This includes leading healthy relationship discussion groups with at-risk youth, attending client counseling and/or resource-oriented meetings, connecting clients with community resources, speaking at community and school outreach prevention events, and attending staff meetings and trainings.

Accomplishments

Holding discussions with youth ages 10-17 and being able to get important ideas about healthy relationships across to them that many people do not learn until adulthood, if they learn them at all.

To continuously accept challenges and put yourself into situations that you are unfamiliar with in order to learn and grow to your fullest potential.
