My responsibility was to handle whatever my boss needed me to take care of, some days I was assigned tasks that included data entry and survey entry. some days I was involve in prepping for trainings, gathering the materials that were needed for the trainings. I also had the chance of doing some administrative tasks, such as invoicing and attending meetings with my supervisor to promote SFP to other organizations.

My greatest accomplishment during my internship was getting the experience to help with the family session. During my internship I was in the office for the most part so When I got a chance to attend one of the family session and see how all the work I've been doing come together to help the trainer made me really proud. The littlest things we do in the office like finding magazines and cutting the pictures out seemed like menial task, but trainers need those pictures for the family sessions without those pictures the activity would not work. Everything we do in the office is essential to the program.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students would be to start the research for their internship early to see if it's going to be a good fit for them. Waiting last minute to find an internship will leave you stressed and you'll end up settling for anything.
