About me: Hello everyone! My name is Laurey Johnson, and I am a sophomore majoring in Human Development and Family Studies and French LCP. I’m from Pella, Iowa, where I’ve cultivated a love for reading, writing, helping kids, being ridiculous, and Iowa State! I love the strong programs we have here as they have enabled me to be excited about helping others. Iowa has helped me grow strong friendships, and I hope to help others do the same.

About me: Hello! My name is Lauren Koehler, and I am a Family & Consumer Sciences Education major with a Financial Counseling & Planning minor. I plan to teach FCS at the high school level when I graduate. My hometown is Monticello, Iowa, where I grew up showing dairy cattle at my local fair. In my free time, I enjoy crafting in all capacities (crochet, cross-stitch, sewing, building miniature houses, making bracelets, etc.)! I also love to hang out with my cat, Beans. I have been a lifelong ISU fans and love going to football games! I am so excited to be a peer mentor this fall and cannot wait to get to know a bunch of new people.

About me: Hello! My name is Saige Hengeveld. I am a sophomore here at ISU. I am majoring in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) and Financial Counseling and Planning (FCP). I am super excited to be your peer mentor for the fall semester! I am originally from a small town in Northwest Iowa called Estherville. I participate in the Hockey Cheerleading Club which is just one of the many clubs ISU offers! I chose to come to ISU because of the HDFS program and a little because all of my family are Hawkeye fans, and I thought it would be funny. I love to dance, sing, act, bake, and chill out. I look forward to getting to know all of you and starting this next year.
