About me: Hello, my name is Elizabeth Blandin. I am a sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education and cannot wait to be your fall 2023 peer mentor. I am from a small town in Eastern Iowa named DeWitt. I have been a Cyclone fan my entire life since both my parents attended the university. I grew up coming to Ames, attending different sports events, and visiting my older siblings, whom all attended here too. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, baking, shopping, and watching movies and TV in my free time.

About me: My name is Hannah Denhart! I will be a sophomore in Early Childhood Education Unified (ECE) this fall! I’m from West Des Moines, Iowa which is about 45 minutes from Ames. I chose to come to Iowa State University because of the phenomenal ECE program here! I cannot wait to continue my journey at ISU and get to know all the new incoming students!!

About me: My name is Laurna Evans Lindsay, and I am a junior majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with an Anthropology minor. I am from Park Forest, Illinois, and I enjoy drawing, painting, and playing video games. When on campus, I can usually be found in the College of human sciences or within the Student Innovation Center building. I am excited to meet all of the incoming freshmen and hope to be a guide when it comes to navigating Iowa State and college life.

About me: Hi everyone! My name is Elena Mulder, and I am a second-year student studying Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS) with a minor in Psychology. I will be graduating after my junior year and will be headed straight to a graduate program focusing on family and marriage counseling! I have always loved working with others and helping those in need, and I have found my passions here through this major and this college. One reason why I love Iowa State is the beautiful campus and the tight knit community seen across the campus and in Ames. You will all find your people!! I am so excited to be a peer mentor and help incoming freshman get excited for all the opportunities that can be found through HDFS and this learning community as well as build great relationships.
